Four new Milliennium postage stamps

Four Millennium projects which highlight the history, creativity and future of the arts are celebrated by Royal Mail in the penultimate stamp issue of the 100-stamp Millennium project.
Sound & Vision was presented on 5 December 2000.

Ringing in the Millennium (2nd class)

Thanks to a £3m grant from the Millennium Commission, the Central council of Church Bell Ringers was able to launch the "Ringing in the Millennium" project, to establish a network of bells across the country. The project identified 150 projects nation-wide where the bells may have been silent for many years, require restoration, or where a new bell or bells were needed.

Year of the Artist (1st class)

Year of the Artist is a unique national project which started in June 2000 and runs through until May 2001. Closely linked to the Millennium celebrations, Year of the Artist promotes art in the community through artist's residents.

Canolfan Mileniwm / Cardiff (45p)

Cardiff Bay Waterfront is the setting where in 2002 the people of Wales and the world will enjoy the arts as never before in the Wales Millennium Centre. This will be a focal point for the unique culture, identity and talents of Wales, and the centrepiece of a series of major regeneration projects on Cardiff Bay Waterfront.

TS2K Talent and Skills 2000 (65p)

TS2k develops the talent and skills of excluded young people, getting them into jobs in the expanding creative industries. Since its creation in 1996, the charity TS2k, has worked with 11,000 young unemployed people, supporting them to develop their own skills, experience and contacts with employers.

Sinds de verschijning van de vorige bundel in de serie verzamelwoede heeft Ruud van Capelleveen honderden artikelen over postzegels, het verzamelen van postzegels en de postzegelhandel geschreven. De beste honderd artikelen uit deze jaren werden opgenomen in zijn nieuwe bundel met 'verzamelwoedes'. Voor 'Verzamelwoede 4' selecteerde Ruud van Capelleveen ook een aantal artikelen over de postzegelhandel die niet eerder werden gepubliceerd. Deze artikelen kunnen beschouwd worden als een aanvulling van zijn succesvolle uitgave 'Postzegels kopen en verkopen'.

Deze bundel bevat honderd columns over postzegels en het verzamelen van filatelistische stukken. Deze columns bestrijken een breed spectrum van de filatelie: naast een groot aantal achtergrondverhalen over basisbegrippen voor postzegelverzamelaars bevat deze bundel ook een aantal stukken waarin Ruud van Capelleveen zijn licht laat schijnen over postzegels, eerstedagenveloppen en allerlei andere onderwerpen die interessant zijn voor de waarachtig geïnteresseerde postzegelverzamelaar.
