Six new definitives were issued picturing islands. The Faroe Islands consist of 18 islands. Throughout the 20th century the economy has changed completely: from barter society to a money society with fishing as the principal industry.Values: 0.50 Kalsoy, 1.00 Vidoy, 4.00 Svinoy, 4.50 Fugloy, 6.00 Kunoy and 8.00 Bordoy.

Waterfalls
The Europe stamps of the Faroe Islands picture waterfalls this year. There are no large rivers on these islands and therefore no large waterfalls. But it rains a lot and when it has been pouring rain, the rivers and streams may become fairy large.Values: 6.00 and 8.00 Kr.
