A stamp was issued on 3 February 2006 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Finnish parliament. The picture on the self-adhesive 1st class non-denominated stamp portrays the session hall of the parliament and the symbol of the anniversary.Stamp design

The 100th anniversary of the Finnish parliament will last from spring 2006 to autumn 2007. On 1 June 2006 it will be a hundred years since the Finnish estates adopted the new Parliament Act and the Election Act. On 23 May 2007 it will be a hundred years since the first plenary session of the unicameral parliament. The theme of the anniversary is "Right to vote - trust in law.
