Postal Workers Union
Merger of stamp unions

The Union of Salaried Postal Employees (formerly Postal Officials Union) merged in May-June 2005 with the Postal Union, which in 2006 has its centenary, to form the Postal and Logistics Union PAU. The PAU is the Finland Post Corporation's largest organisation for employees.
Postal Union
The Finland Postal Union has roughly 30,000 members. The joining of forces and the hundredth anniversary are being marked with a stamp depicting two postmen of different periods. One was pictured in the early twentieth century and the other in summer 2005. Also, the stamps bear a stylised pen nib, a chairman's gavel and PAU's insignia.
