Swiss Christmas stampChristmas tree decoration

These adornments were made from local materials that were in widespread use (glass is not the only material used for Christmas decorations) and took the form of typical objects for that area, with different objects for different regions.Swiss Post Christmas stampIn 2000, the Swiss Post Christmas stamp depicted a beautiful angel made of embossed cardboard covered in silver foil from Dresden which was famous for such products. This was followed in 2001 by an attractive combined hollow glass-bead star from Gablonz, and this year, the stamp features a typical cardboard church in miniature from Bohemia.Issue: Switzerland, 19 November 2002 Uw ReactieUse Facebook, Twitter or Google +1 to inform your friends
