Alpine World Ski Championships 2003
Ski Championships

The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships are to be held in St. Moritz-Pontresina for the fourth time, from 1 to 16 February 2003, and will be the biggest sporting event ever staged in Switzerland to date.
One hundred thousand spectators are expected in Engadine, and more than 300 million people world-wide will be watching the races on television.
At St. Moritz's doorstep
All the races will take place on the Corviglia, the mountain on St. Moritz's doorstep, and the finishing line will be in Salastrains. Attractive challenging runs that provide excellent views for the spectators lining the course and standing at the finishing line will be available. The situation of the runs is exceptional in itself, because all the races will be held above the tree-line.
