Flowers
New stamps designed by Paavo Huovinen

The cornflower and the pale pasque flower are the topics of the new Finnish first class non-denominated stamps. The stamps were issued on 16 May 2001 and designed by Paavo Huovinen.
The stamps were issued in a ten-stamp self-adhesive sheet.
Finnish provincial flowers
These stamps will be the latest in a series introducing Finnish provincial flowers, first issued in 1990. The flowers decorating the new stamps do not represent actual historical provinces, but two regions of the province of Häme.
