One of these days we received a copy of 'Filatelisten, Svensk Filatelisk Tidskrift', a Swedish stamp magazine, February 2001, of editor Gösta Karlsson.

Various interesting articles

If you leaf through the pages of this magazine you very much regret the fact that you cannot read Swedish for the journal has a lot of good photographs and it is printed on good paper. As far as you can judge it contains various interesting articles.

Gunnar Dahlvig

One of the most interesting articles is that about Gunnar Dahlvig's part 1 article 'Vikingarna som stadsbildare och kolonisatörer' (The Vikings as city founders and colonizers or settlers). On the basis of the pictures you can almost 'read' the story.

Svenska regenter

Some other articles are: 'Svenska regenter' (Swedish governors) and 'Nytt pa WWF Fronten' (News of the World Wildlife Fund).

Improvement

Perhaps it is worthwhile to publish on one or two pages not too short summaries in English of the most important articles. Various foreign stamp collectors will be very pleased with such an improvement of the magazine.
