Classic black and white images of favourite household pets feature on Royal Mail's latest set of special stamps. The Cats & Dogs booklet was issued on 13 February 2001. This booklet contains ten self-adhesive first class stamps.

UK is the worlds top pet-owing country

The UK is one of the world's top pet-owning countries with half of all households owning a pet. It is not the first time cats and dogs have featured in recent years.
