European city of culture

To mark Brussels as the European city of culture of the year 2000, six postcards were released on 16 October 2000.
On the left, the cards' fronts show reproductions of old picture postcards of Brussels from the archives of the City of Brussels. The photographs are made by J.J. Rousseau.
The stamp imprints (denomination not indicated) show a recent photograph of the same street.
